1. Place base frame on level ground

2. Insert stabilisers through the ends of the base

3. Insert the outer tube onto the base and pin

4. Insert inner tube

5. Attach each tie bar to the inner tube and pin

Note: If fitting a beam trolley to the beam this needs to be done before placing the beam onto the gantry legs.

6. Fit beam and torque load bolts to 27Nm of 20ft/lbs

7. Raise the beam to the required height and pin

8. Fit beam clamp if required

9. Fit chain block to beam trolley or beam clamp

10.Check secure and smooth operation of beam trolley if fitted

Note: The gantry is fitted with wheels to assist in moving around the work area. The wheels are not designed to take the weight of the load therefore before lifting ensure wheels are rotated into the frame and pinned. The base frame is now sitting on the ground.

The stabilisers may be fitted through each end of the base frame to aid stability if required.

Stabilisers MUST BE USED if rotating the base.

11. The competent person must now check the gantry for integrity before putting into use
